Registration of ‘L 99‐226’ Sugarcane

Abstract: ‘L 99‐226’ (Reg. No. CV‐138, PI 655533) sugarcane (a complex hybrid of Saccharum officinarum L., S. barberi Jeswiet, S. spontaneum L., and S. sinense Roxb. amend. Jeswiet) was released on 25 Apr. 2006 by the Louisiana State University Agricultural Center (LSU AgCenter) in cooperation with the USDA–ARS and the American Sugar Cane League, Inc.
