Regulation of physiological processes in winter wheat by growth regulators in conditions of powdery mildew infection

Abstract: An important way of regulating the key units of metabolism in the plant organism under the action of stressors is the use of biologically active substances with regulating properties – plant growth regulators. They affect endogenous regulatory systems, altering key metabolic pathways and thus increasing the plant's sustainability and productive potential in adverse environmental conditions. The aim of the research was to establish the possibility of regulation of physiological processes in winter wheat varieti… Show more

“…A close relationship was found between economically valuable traits and the frequency of valuable mutations obtained for these genotypes, the overall frequency and spectra of visually identifiable mutations. Although this pattern has already been identified (Mamenko & Yakymchuk, 2019), it was not for chemical mutagenesis. Thus, for the genetic improvement of winter wheat varieties, the six identified combinations of three varieties of Ukrainian breeding and moderate concentrations of sodium azide and dimethyl sulphate can be used, which guarantee a substantial increase in the yield of forms with economically valuable traits by about 20-50%.…”

“…Аналіз останніх досліджень і публікацій. Вивчення специфічної дії мутагенів проводиться починаючи з першого покоління, оскільки вплив на показники росту та розвитку, формування рослинного організму, визначення характеру онтогенезу, отримання необхідної кількісті мутантного матеріалу відбувається якраз на цьому етапі [6,7].…”
