[8] To elucidate: quantum plasmonics has emerged as an attractive research field in new nanophotonics; research is underway to reveal and accurately describe the quantum nature of electrons at the bottom of extremely confined nano-or sub-nanometer scale materials, using light. [9,10] By exploring the quantum mechanical interactions of matter with light (in particular, using the coherent interactions between the plasmonic cavity and the material), [11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18] these efforts seek to establish new frontiers in information processing technology and to satisfy the everincreasing requirements for speed and capacity in quantum computing, quantum cryptography, and quantum metrology. They might also suggest research fields beyond this, involving the ultimate miniaturization of photonic components and the extreme limits of the light-matter interaction. These advantages may help solve some fundamental problems of electronics, such as those of bandwidth, frequency, and energy consumption. [19] In this review, we describe recent developments in the research of exotic materials capable of mediating quantum plasmonics and inducing quantum energy transport. We briefly provide classical and quantum descriptions of matter, from the bulk, nano, and cluster scales down to atomic matter, exploring the band structures via their optical responses. By considering a single nanoplasmonic material, we describe the theoretical and experimental findings pertaining to assembled nanoplasmonic structures, in the context of the plasmonic gap distance and the type of advanced functional material. The plasmonic gap herein refers to a nanometer or sub-nanometer gap that transports (couples, tunnels, exchanges, confines) electromagnetic energy between plasmonic resonators. Advanced functional materials within an extremely confined metallic resonator are described; these include air/vacuum, aliphatic and conjugated molecules, 2D materials, organic and inorganic materials with At the interfaces of metal and dielectric materials, strong light-matter interactions excite surface plasmons; this allows electromagnetic field confinement and enhancement on the sub-wavelength scale. Introducción. Se caracteriza una serie de aspectos relacionados con la resiliencia de las personas aprendices de contenidos matemáticos, habida cuenta de que muchas exhiben actitudes desfavorables hacia la matemática, que restringen la posibilidad de arrostrar la resolución de problemas en esta asignatura, con casos que abortan hasta la tarea o abandonan la escuela por sentir aversión hacia la matemática. Objetivo. Caracterizar la resiliencia asociada con las personas aprendices de contenidos matemáticos. Análisis. Se desarrolló una revisión documental tomando en cuenta, mayormente, lo visibilizado en las últimas dos décadas. Esta se apoyó en un análisis de contenido, en su arista cualitativa, de una serie de asuntos relacionados con las potencialidades que deben poseer las personas aprendices de contenidos matemáticos para hacer frente a los problemas matemáticos y resolverlos de manera exitosa, centrando la atención en los que no logran superar las situaciones difíciles que suelen presentarse en el aula de matemática. Resultados. Entre los hallazgos se resalta que la resiliencia acontece en determinadas condiciones contextuales y quienes la experimentan muestran una impetuosa compulsión interior sustentada en varios pilares, entre los que destacan factores socioafectivos como la autoeficacia, la perseverancia para resolver problemas matemáticos y, fundamentalmente, lo valorativo que marca el sendero para la acción correcta ante obstáculos que las personas aprendices logran encarar hasta superar la circunstancia causante de la dificultad. Conclusiones. Se concluye que toda persona aprendiz de contenidos matemáticos tiene la posibilidad de ser resiliente, si decide afrontar las situaciones extremas que pudieran acontecer en torno al proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de la matemática.

Effective teaching and learning of mathematics are vital not only for examination or assessment purposes but also for empowering learners to live in a modern age of science, mathematics, and engineering and enable them to role-play to the social and economic development of the developing countries and the whole world as well. This study reveals insights of teachers and students regarding mathematics teaching and learning in Rwanda. The study was a survey designed involving 217 ordinary level secondary school students and 25 secondary school teachers who teach Mathematics, from 5 schools in Karongi District, Western Province, in Rwanda. The results analysis was confined to three components namely; preferred mathematics teaching methods, motivation to teach and learn mathematics, and the usability of mathematics in daily life. Descriptive statistics and all the statistical tables/graphs were generated using SPSS and MS Excel. As results, peer learning and group work and expository were found to be the most applied teaching methods in the selected schools. This study has underlined that not only parents but also siblings have an impact on their young brothers/sisters’ education. In terms of its utilitarian value, respondents revealed that mathematics increases critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and creativity of students. Teachers need to be more knowledgeable in the subject matter, through lesson preparations and linking mathematical concepts to real-world experiences.
