Relationship of Russia and the candidate countries: Political and economic aspect

Three Baltic States, Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia were delighted with the EU and NATO, and other countries were largely part of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) testimony as a member, or in some other form of labile union. Russia as the strongest country in the region has achieved the most diverse forms of communities and history with this country, in the field of regional integration, economic relations and cooperation in the military technical and strategic field. Russia with the CIS in the further process of integration in the world successfully responds to political, economic and other countries in Europe, Asia, the US, Latin America. All these factors have a positive effect on the overall socioeconomic development of the entire region, which has become an important subject in the process of globalization. The paper considers the political and economic aspect of Russia's relations with the CIS countries.
