We have developed several prototypes of solar concentrators that are compact, light, and inexpensive. As an example of solar concentrators, we selected parabolic solar concentrators with plane mirrors that approximate the parabolic surface. A methodology is proposed for the evaluation of the impact of combinations of solar concentrators together with certain agricultural crops. The proposed mathematical model is simple and applicable for different cases of combination of solar concentrators and agricultural fields. This study is dedicated to renewable energy on the example of two countries, Mexico and Azerbaijan. The relief and climate of both countries have many common features, which are expressed particularly in the abundance of solar radiation, the predominance of mountainous regions with remote and hard-to-reach settlements that need to create autonomous life support systems. The main problem for proposed solar concentrators is the automatization of the assembly process of these solar concentrators. We proposed two methods of assembly that is, using a parabolic rule and using a robotic arm with a stereoscopic vision system. Both methods are described in this chapter.

Solar energy is an inexhaustible and pollution-free energy source that plays a significant role in the sustainable provision of energy services. The main purpose of this study is to examine the potential, current situation, future strategies, and policies of solar energy, which is a renewable resource in Azerbaijan. This study is research in which qualitative methods are used and within the scope of the study, literature review, systematic approach and inductive methods were used. In the study, Azerbaijan's policy towards solar energy has been examined based on the potential sources of solar energy, the current situation and the country's future strategies. Azerbaijan is slightly behind in the production of electricity from renewable energy sources. Along with all this, the most important strategic goals for the use of renewable and alternative energy sources in Azerbaijan have been defined. Thus, by 2030, the share of renewable energy investment in the country's total energy balance to 30% has been determined as the main goal. As a result of the study, it can be said that solar energy policies will have a positive effect on the country's economy in the coming years, since Azerbaijan has a geographical location and an infrastructure system that can be delivered to the countries in need.

Diversification is an important component of the development of any economy. The reason for this is the increase in the country's resilience to external stimuli, which makes progress more gradual, constant and predictable. Thus, the study of the possibilities of diversifying the economy is very relevant, especially in today's geopolitical conditions. The purpose of the work was to analyse some methods of diversifying the economy of Azerbaijan, namely the development of export-oriented production and the implementation of the “green transformation”. Analysis became the main method in writing the article, but historical, modelling, deduction, abstract-logical methods also played an important role. Thus, the work examined and analysed the export of Azerbaijan, during which a significant dependence of the country on oil sales to foreign markets was revealed. Since such a prospect is dangerous for the sustainable development of the country, it is important to carry out certain measures aimed at increasing the diversification of its exports. First of all, they are associated with publicprivate partnerships, but they also take other forms, such as attracting investments and building infrastructure. In addition, the paper describes how the “green transformation” of the country can help achieve the goals of economic diversification and at what stage is the level of “greening” of the state economy; the paper also describes the prospects for the state in achieving these goals.
