“…In A. leptodactylus, Kö ksal (1988) reported that egg-bearing females collected from a wild population and from earthen ponds yielded in hatching tanks 76.9 and 104.8 stage 2 juveniles per female respectively. In P. leniusculus, from the broodstock maintained in earthen ponds and transferred to the hatchery in April, Celada et al (2005b) estimated a production of 190 stage 2 juveniles per female.
