Research of spectrum decision and adaptive reconstruction technology in cognitive radio

Abstract

Cognitive l'adio (CR) is an intelligent communication system which gl'eatly improves spectrum efficiency through the effective use of idle spectrum. In this papel', spectrum decision and adaptive reconsh'uction technology al'e reseal'ched. Adaptive spectnlln decision scheme is PI'oposed based on chal'actel'istics of user sel'vices, wh'eless envil'onlnent and CR node capacity. Since the weights of CR adaptive l'econsh'uction method based on weighted genetic algo.-ithm is difficult to select, CR adaptive reconstl'uction method based on non-dominated sorting genetic algo.-ithm is proposed. This algo.-ithm impI'oves the population divt'l'Sity thl'ough introducing conct'ntration control mt'chanism of immune algol'ithm and unifonn initialization techniques, consequently improving the optimization ability of genetic algo.-ithms effectively. Simulation l'esuIt.s show that the PI'oposed method can adaptively adjust communication bands and comlnunication configlll'ation parameters based on diffel'ent application envil'onlnents. The pel'formance is consistent with the CUlTent applic.ation envil·onment.
