Research on Precision Blanking Process Design of Micro Gear Based on Piezoelectric Actuator

Abstract: In order to process micro scale parts more conveniently, especially the micro parts with complex shape, a new micro blanking equipment based on piezoelectric ceramic driving is proposed in this paper. Compared with other large precision machining equipment, the equipment cost has been greatly reduced. Using displacement sensor to detect the change of output displacement and feedback control piezoelectric actuator to control the change of relevant parameters, the control precision is high. The micro gear parts … Show more

“…For each value of A e presented in Tables 1-3, the voltage drop amplitude for type I estimators, A S-I , and their range of charge, q range-I , are nearly fixed across different excitation frequencies, f e . This is in agreement with finding (2) in Section 5, presented in (16), and is a substantial advantage. On the other hand, in type II estimators, for the higher values of A e presented in Tables 2 and 3, A S-II and q range-II decrease meaningly with an increase in f e ; however, the resistor changes with frequency according to (31) to maintain A S at 1 V. q range-I (µC) q range-II (µC)…”

“…Piezoelectric ceramics possess the advantages of convenient control, high power density, high displacement resolution, fast frequency response, low power consumption, no noise, and strong anti-electromagnetic interference ability [1]. They have developed into a unique driving form in the field of precision drive and are applied in automatic assembly devices, micro-robot operation, micro-machinery manufacturing, precision optical adjustment, precision positioning, nano-machining and optical fiber operation [15][16][17][18].…”
