Research on Resource Utilization of Wastewater from the Production of Soybean Products

Abstract: Using biological flocculent chitosan, the optimal treatment conditions of the soybean products wastewater were determined to be 0.4 mg/mL chitosan, pH 4.0 and 20 C. The ammonia nitrogen removal rate is 51.8%. Based on the above results, another 34.6% of removal rate of ammonia is achieved by further treatment of wastewater with yeast.
