Research on safety evaluation of civil aircraft based on the grey clustering model

Abstract: Purpose The purpose of this paper is to construct a grey clustering model based on the nonlinear whitenization weight function and to assess the safety of civil aircraft by using a quantitative method. Design/methodology/approach According to the running stage of civil aircraft safety assessment issues, first the civil aircraft safety evaluation index system is constructed by using a qualitative method. Taking the information duplication between indicators, the grey relational analysis method is used to filt… Show more

“…Most scholars construct it based on the integration of literature, the concentration of relevant documents and data materials within the industry. Su and Xie [ 39 ] combined performance with physical parameters and applied them to the civil aircraft safety assessment index system, which can assess the safety of civil aircraft. Chen et al [ 40 ] applied system and job analysis, event tree analysis, fault tree analysis, and bow-tie analysis to establish four types of security performance indicators and proposed a new model for departmental risk assessment based on them.…”

“…The research intends to build an automotive parts remodeling evaluation index system based on grey clustering. Su and Xie (2018) research the safety assessment of civilian aircraft based on the grey clustering model. The target of their research is to construct a grey clustering model based on the nonlinear whitenization weight function and to evaluate the safety of civilian aircraft using the quantitative method.…”

“…The relationship between the two series is determined by the difference between the two series and the difference measure refers to a value of background for generating a grey relational grade (Karimi and Forrest, 2014). The grey incidence degree not only reflects the similarity degree of the indexes in geometry but also reflects the approaching degree of the index changing rate, which is a quantitative indicator that more completely characterizes the connection between feature sequences (Su et al , 2018). When we make a system analysis and study the relationship between the behavior of the system characteristics and related factors, the main concern is usually the order of the size of degree, the system characteristic behavior sequence and all relevant factors.…”
