Research on Transportation Safety of Prefabricated Building Components

Abstract: Aiming at the safety problem of the transportation of prefabricated components in prefabricated buildings, set pair analysis (SPA) and Pareto analysis (ABC) are used to propose a transportation safety evaluation model for prefabricated components in prefabricated buildings based on SPA-ABC. Based on the existing research results, the risk factors in the three stages of transportation preparation, transportation work and storage work are sorted out, and the evaluation index system of transportation safety is es… Show more

“…Scholars from around the world have identified and addressed the challenges associated with PC, endeavoring to enhance its implementation in the AEC industry. Their collective efforts have focused on resolving a wide range of challenges, including health and safety problems [12,[14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22]; supply chain and supply chain resilience problems [5,[23][24][25][26][27][28][29][30][31]; logistical problems [32,33]; schedule and delay problems [34][35][36][37][38][39]; information technology problems [40]; modular elements' tolerance problems [41,42]; problems related with crane operations [43]; problems related with policy drivers [30]; design problems [44,45]; quality problems [46]; and investment and cost problems [10,[47][48][49][50][51][52].…”

“…Cui et al [49] developed a risk assessment model for workers' health caused by environmental releases in prefabricated component factories. Li and Guo [50] proposed a transportation safety evaluation model for prefabricated components. Therefore, a comprehensive social sustainability indicator system involving various stakeholders is required.…”
