Abstract:The article presents a substantiation of the relevance of the use of automobile and mechanical engineering products of secondary polymer materials. The process of modification of secondary ABS plastic with an organosilicon compound vinyltris (2-methoxy-ethoxy) silane is considered, and methods for determining the physical and mechanical parameters of secondary modified polymeric materials are described and the results of their mechanical tests are presented.
Traditional repair technologies for machine parts are analyzed. New restoration methods using polymer composites with nonwoven filler are proposed. Types of polymer materials are considered in the light of the life cycle of machine parts.
