Fungicidal DTCs have been used, increasingly, for over 50 years and are applied to a broad range of crops; they can persist in soil for 20-75 days, and have been detected on crops up to 3 weeks after application, and even after washing [Newsome, 1976[Newsome, , 1979Brocker and Schlatter, 1979;Patsakos et al, 1992;Meco et al, 1994].
