Abstract:Theoretical and experimental investigations of the main electromagnetic resonances excited by linearly polarized microwaves in a rectangular, thin, all-dielectric subwavelength circuit are presented. Displacement and polarization currents induced in this anisotropic circuit are shown to produce resonant magnetic and electric dipoles. The spectra of these dipoles measured in the near zone of the rectangular circuit frames indicate a variety of resonances subject to the orientation of the frame with respect to t… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
