Results of Systematic Nodal Dissection in Typical and Atypical Carcinoid Tumors of the Lung

Abstract: Systematic nodal dissection showed a high frequency of unpredictable lymphatic spread, mainly in the TC group. This procedure is mandatory to treat carcinoids in a curative intent.
