The field of strategic planning and decision-making is crucial for the success and sustainability of manufacturing organizations. This paper presents a combined methodological approach, using quantitative data analysis to support long-term planning through the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). The QSPM enables the identification of problems and supports effective decision-making by evaluating the ranking of alternatives and assessing the organization's internal and external factors. This study provides insights into the clearness of strategic planning and decision-making, as well as sustainable evaluation of alternatives for manufacturing organizations in Kosovo. The research identifies backward, forward, and horizontal integration as key strategic alternatives for achieving organizational longevity. By utilizing the QSPM, this study offers valuable guidance for decision-makers and strategic planning professionals in the manufacturing industry.

The research aims to see the weightiness of evaluation, the approach of internal and external analysis of the organization and the impact that this approach can influence on organizations, therefore the model of the SPACE and its importance in decision-making through managerial function in organizations in Kosovo. The study focuses in the way of analyzing the factors, of the SPACE model in national organizations, analyzing the type of concentration in the industry through the results achieved. This model derives internal and external analyzes of organizations by determining the format of the strategic decision-making method and their application in strategic orientations for organizations. The model tries to provide a basis for sustainable and long-term decision making, as the economy is developing day-by-day and managers are facing more uncertainty. The research used a series of methodologies starting by the conceptual framework of the model of SPACE, flowing through with AHP-MCDM approach to see the consistency and randomness indexes for providing the sustain decision making and contemporary practical guidance for managers. The study processed with 500 surveyed Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Kosovo. The results through this research turn out to be that organizations' applying the SPACE for decision-making can gain's strong orientation towards in industry, pertinently Strategic Position in industry (STPi) especially in aggressively position against competition. It is recommended that businesses follow such a path of practicing Strategic Management Tools and Techniques (SMTT) for a meaningful strategic decision-making and for better posturing.

This paper proposes a model to support the decision to choose which multilateral export control regime of defense products and sensitive technologies in which Brazil does not yet participate, namely, Wassenaar Arrangement, Australia Group and Zangger Committee, should be prioritized for adhesion. For the development of this model, the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method was used, considered adequate for solving problems where criteria are qualitative and decisions tend to be based on personal experiences. The hierarchical structure of the problem used seven criteria (Country Legislation, Regulatory System, Licensing Structure, Enforcement Capacity, International Cooperation, Costs of Adhesion and Benefits for the Defense Industrial Base) to compare the three mentioned agreements. A questionnaire was set up and specialists related to National Defense were selected to answer them, after which their answers were collected, standardized, processed and analyzed. At the end, the agreements were ordered by preference to support decision making, illustrating the application of the proposed model.
