Case presentation A 58-year-old man presenting with symptoms of effort angina was admitted to our hospital. He was diagnosed with silent myocardial ischemia that was detected by myocardial perfusion scintigraphy. The patient had some coronary risk factors, including current smoking, hyperlipidemia, and hypertension, which required optimal medical treatment.
