RETRACTED: Neurological Alterations and Testicular Damages in Aging Induced by D-Galactose and Neuro and Testicular Protective Effects of Combinations of Chitosan Nanoparticles, Resveratrol and Quercetin in Male Mice

Abstract: Aging is a neurological disease that is afforded by incidence of oxidative stress. Chitosan has received global interests due to its wide medical uses. Quercetin (Q) is a bioflavonoid and widely distributed in vegetables and fruits. Resveratrol is considered as a potent antioxidant and is a component of a wide range of foods. The using of either chitosan nanopartciles (CH-NPs), querectin (Q), and resveratrol (RV) to reduce the oxidative stress and biochemical alterations on brain and testicular tissues induced… Show more

“…Additionally, the incorporation of active compounds that possess antioxidant agents into nanoparticle coatings represents a novel step. CH-NPs have attracted high attention as biomedical active compounds, as they possess a broad spectrum of biological activities, such as immunostimulatory effects, anti-inflammatory activities, and free radicals (ROS) scavenging activities [11].…”

“…TiO 2 -NPs (nanostructures) have the ability to bind to the bacterial cellular wall and can enter the cellular membrane via a significant number of modifications, resulting in bacterial cellular death [41]. Another mechanism is the development of "pits" at the cellular surface, resulting in the accumulation of TiO 2 -NPs (nanostructures) [42], in turn leading to the accumulation of free radicals that cause cellular death [43,44]. Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, the transmission of the SARS-CoV-2 virus largely occurs by direct viral attachment to cellular hosts.…”
