Reversible light-mediated compositional and structural transitions between CsPbBr3 and CsPb2Br5 nanosheets

Abstract: This communication describes a new method to achieve reversible light-induced chemical composition and phase structural transitions from polyvinylpyrrolidone-capped orthorhombic CsPbBr to tetragonal CsPbBr nanosheets or vice versa. This work will deepen our understanding of the controlled synthesis, post-processing, and decomposition pathway of cesium lead halide perovskite nanocrystals.

“…[29] Phase change or composition change,and as aresult, the luminescent properties change of CsPbX 3 upon different external stimuli, including water, [30,31] PbX 2 , [27,32] amines, [33][34][35] and thermal annealing, [36,37] has been demonstrated in previous reported works.H owever,i ti ss till very difficult to achieve reversible on/off of their luminescent properties.
