The following Tydeidae species have been previously reported in Brazil: P. henriandrei and Lorryia tuttlei (Baker, 1965) in Rio Grande do Sul, L. podocarpa in the states of Amazonas, Bahia, Rio Grande do Sul, Rondônia and São Paulo, and L. turrialbensis (Baker, 1968) in Acre, Alagoas, Amazonas, Bahia, Maranhão, Mato Grosso, Pernambuco and São Paulo (Silva et al 2016;Horn et al 2018;Nuvoloni et al 2020).
