Rigid body dynamics in optimization of the machine tool vibroisolation

Abstract: Original scientific paper Modern design of the machine tool treats the suspending parts as a crucial element of the effective vibration isolation. Therefore the suspending items are specifically developed and subjected to extensive tests before being applied on real objects. These elements ensure accurate levelling and appropriate vibration damping. Usually selection of inadequate support element causes intensive disturbing effects in machining. The paper presents dynamics analysis of the machine tool suspende… Show more

“…The axle pin as the most vital part of the wind turbine should be machined by applying a low feed and depth of cut, as reported in [30], in order to ensure low roughness of the machined surface. The best surface quality was achieved when the axle pin was fixed as a rigid body in the machining centre, as reported in [31,32]. This paper discusses the evaluation of the conformity between the calculated stress and the measured strains on the critical part of the axle pin and the loads are calculated with the GH Bladed software.…”

“…There are voluminous previous studies investigated the various issue of energy such as energy security [10] and the relationship between energy and macroeconomic factors [2], [11], [12], however, there are very limited resources of literature emphasizing on the impact of export and import of fossil fuels supply on electricity generation. Since Malaysia is blessed with a lot of energy resources such as oil, gas and coal, they could be used to supply energy and power the economy of a nation.…”
