“…[24] Currently, several different laparoscopic procedures are used for the treatment of UTUC, such as TRNU, [5] tRNU, [6,7] hand-assisted laparoscopic nephroureterectomy [25,26] and robotic-assisted laparoscopic technique. [27,28] In all of these procedures, dealing with the bladder cuff is a key process. [13,[29][30][31][32][33] The completely laparoscopic technique has its own advantages since it avoids the initial endoscopic circumferential release of the bladder cuff as well as open incision and position changes.…”

“…In our meta-analysis, some patients who underwent CRNU had high stages (T3/T4) and high grades (G3) of UTUC, suggesting that invasive UTUC may not be a contraindication to CRNU. Other procedures such as hand-assist laparoscopic technique and robotic-assisted laparoscopic technique have also been used in the treatment of UTUC, [25][26][27][28] but no case-control studies comparing these approaches with CRNU have been conducted. Thus, we did not conduct a meta-analysis about it and related case-control researches should be performed in the future.…”
