Role of Endomycorrhizae on Controlling Stem- and Root-Rot of Pepper Caused by Sclerotium rolfsii

Abstract: his study was designed to investigate the effect of inoculation time with vesicular arbuscular mycorrhizal (VAM) fungi, Glomus spp., on the interaction between root-rot and stem-rot of pepper caused by Sclerotium rolfsii Sacc. as well as its growth. The results indicated that addition of Glomus spp. significantly increased the shoot and root fresh and dry weight with significant decrease to the disease severity (59-89%).
