Abstract:Postoperative pain following laparoscopic cholecystectomy is one of the main causes for lengthening the period of hospitalization. In an attempt to decrease this early postoperative complication, esmolol infusion was administered during general anaesthesia to patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
