“…Sun et al demonstrated that the heart rate of PDE3A knockout (KO) mice was significantly higher than that of age-matched WT mice, while the heart rate of PDE3B KO mice was similar to that of WT mice. 28) Furthermore, they showed that the pharmacologic inhibition of PDE3 increased the heart rate and decreased systemic blood pressure in WT and PDE3B KO mice, but not in PDE3A KO mice.
