TRUE Test1 panels are not routinely used in the paediatric population but Jacob et al [2] found these patch tests to be safe and efficacious in the paediatric population.…”

“…Specifically, the North American Contact Dermatitis Group (NACDG) reported 24 cases of PPT to MCI/MI in children younger than 18 years of age tested between 2005 and 2012 , the Pediatric Research Equity Act study reported four cases of children 6 to 18 years of age with a PPT to MCI/MI combination using an epicutaneous patch test (T.R.U.E. test) , Chang and Nakrani reported six children (four girls, two boys, ages 3–8 years) with ACD to MI‐containing wet wipes using an epicutaneous patch test, and Admani et al published a case report of perianal dermatitis in a 9‐year‐old boy caused by contact allergy to MI‐containing wet wipes using an epicutaneous patch test. Quenen et al , in Geneva, Switzerland, recently reported four pediatric cases of MI contact allergy and stated that “it remains underdiagnosed in the United States because it is still tested in combination with MCI”.…”
