“…Schiff base complexes with imines have deserved much attention, probably because of their ability to intercalate between the bases of DNA and to participate in catalytic cycles with usual reducing and oxidizing agents in biological medium and Cu(II) is also involved in the causation and cure of cancer [11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16]. This prompted us to synthesize a new series of heterocyclic compounds containing the antipyrinyl moiety from the Schiff bases derived from the condensation of Salicylidene-4-iminoantipyrine and Histidine [17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26].
