In the digital age that has taken place It is seen as a situation where teacher candidates who are trained to become teachers of the future are expected to follow current educational technologies. In this context, the opinions of teacher candidates regarding the technological developments that are becoming widespread in education are important. The aim of this researcher is to reveal the views of social studies teacher candidates regarding the use of virtual reality in education. In the study, a scanning model from quantitative research patterns was used. The appropriate sampling method has been applied in the selection of samples. The research was carried out with 286 social studies teacher candidates, Participants were given a questionnaire aimed at revealing views on the use of virtual reality in education. The survey, developed by Antonietti et al. (2000) and published in Turkish by Başaran (2010), is of type 5 likert. The data obtained in the study were analyzed using arithmetic mean, standard deviation, percentage, t test and ANOVA test. According to the findings obtained by analyzing the data, in the opinions of teacher candidates on the use of virtual reality in education There was no significant difference in "gender, class level and previous virtual reality experience". In the opinions of Social studies teacher candidates , "owning a computer in the living space" and "see yourself as a teacher who benefits from technology in the future" according to variables if in favor of those who answered yes significant differences have been found. In addition, social studies candidates teachers, included in the survey applied the attractiveness of virtual reality, support students to be active in the course to substances that express a positive opinion high participated in revealed.
