Abstract: SARS-CoV-2 and other ssRNA + viruses induce major cellular lipid rearrangements, exploiting the host's metabolic pathways to replicate. Sterol regulatory-element binding proteins (SREBPs) are a family of transcription factors that control lipid metabolism.
