“…Instead of essentializing global south as the wasteland of civilization or championing the western model of administration as the undisputed ideal, classrooms of public administration should be used to generate meaningful discourses to imagine something different. In this regard Hayes’ (2016) recommendation to use satire as a critical pedagogical tool to facilitate discussion of hard questions and Blessett et al’s (2016) call for inclusion of counterhegemonic scripts of post-colonialism, feminism, and other critical theories in the PA curricula can serve as useful starting points.
