Scenario modelling of the sustainable development goals under uncertainty

Abstract:  Articulating methodological steps in scenario modelling can help researchers enhance sustainability assessment under future uncertainty. Using a new methodology, we illustrate the sensitivity of sustainable development goals to global scenarios and their uncertainties. The results show that achieving ambitious targets requires substantial progress in socioeconomic and environmental indicators.
