“…It has been found that some of the stimuli-responsive polymeric micelles of poly (N-isopropylacrylamide) and poly (acrylic acid) blocks show schizophrenic behavior. Here, the schizophrenic behavior means that some AB-type diblock copolymers can create two different micelle structures, for example, the A-core/B-corona arrangement and B-core/A-corona arrangement, and the two structures can be reversibly converted to each other by some stimuli [ 41–44 ].…”

“…As the molar ratios of H 3 PO 4 and TEOS were varied from 2:1 (Sample A) to 3:1 (Sample B) and 5:1 (Sample C), the local ordering of mesopores was destroyed and, therefore, the optimized molar ratio of H 3 PO 4 and TEOS in the present study was 2:1 (Sample A). It has been already reported that the water‐soluble PEO unit becomes insoluble at higher PO 4 3− concentrations 23. Thus, the insolubility of PEO unit cannot work well to preserve the micelle structure and finally causes the deformation of the mesoporous structure of phosphosilicate films, as seen in SEM images (Figure S2 in the Supporting Information).…”

“…Our group has reported a number of studies on schizophrenic micellization of DHBCs employing various stimuli 99103. One of them employed temperature and metal ions to induce schizophrenic micellization of PAMPS‐ b ‐PNIPAM.…”
