Scholarly Communities in Entrepreneurship Research: A Co–Citation Analysis

Abstract: A debate persists about the distinctiveness of entrepreneurship research. Entrepreneurship research is seen as fragmented and its results are considered noncumulative, handicapping the evolution of the field as a respected scholarly discipline.
