Abstract: Vascular surgeons increasingly claim that percutaneous interventional treatment of peripheral arterial disease belongs to their discipline.In further medical training interventional radiology is exclusively bound to the discipline of radiology and necessitates a minimum of 250 procedures for valid qualification.
