P04.22: Case report: diagnosis of 3 cases of anencephaly/exencephaly at 8–10 weeks

Abstract: Electronic poster abstracts overload, whereas if diagnosed after 2 years old, can manifest as hydrocephalus, focal neurologic defects, headaches, seizures or hemorrhage. When the diagnosis is perinatal, prognosis is not good, especially if accompanied by heart failure, so that permanent neurological damage or death are frequent events, produced by the disturbances caused by the fistula, or as a result of treatment, usually posnatal embolization of the lesion.
