Scrambled Coded Multiple Access

Abstract: The advantages of Interleave Division Multiple Access (IDMA) are taken one step further by Scrambled Coded Multiple Access (SCMA) where user specific, long interleave tables are replaced by a common scrambling sequence that can be used for all users with a simple shift.Index Terms-Scrambled coded multiple access, interleave division multiple access, low density parity check codes, layered belief decoding, turbo codes, EXIT charts.
