We investigate the possibility of detecting the leptophilic gauge boson Zx predicted by the U(1)Le-Lμ
model via the processes e+e-→ l+l-Zx(Zx→ l+l-) and e+e-→l+l-Zx(Zx→ νlνl) at the Circular Electron Positron Collider (CEPC) with the center of mass energy √s=240 GeV and the luminosity L=5.6 ab-1. We give the expected sensitivities of the CEPC to the parameter space at 1σ, 2σ ,3σ and 5σ levels. Content from this work may be used under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 licence.
