In addition, Pteropodidae have difficulty flying during heavy rains Roy et al 2020), when they might have problems with hypothermia given their limited cold tolerance (Downs et al 2012). Hence, taking these aspects into account, during the wet season, particularly on nights with heavy or continuous rain, R. madagascariensis might be forced to forage for shorter bouts, and probably in the vicinity of the cave.…”
