“…5‐Aromatic substituted nucleosides known as isomorphic nucleosides were widely used as fluorescence probes for understanding of nucleic acid folding, structure, recognition, and function . Previously, our group has fabricated a series of luminescent π‐gels based on carbazole, β‐diketon, β‐diketone‐boron difluoride complexes, and so on . With these in mind, N ‐alkylcarbazole was introduced to the 5‐position of uridine so as to generate new luminescent nucleolipid, in which three hydroxyl groups in the sugar moiety, two carbonyl groups and a N–H group in the base were retained as the self‐assembling units.…”
