“…Results gathered in Table show that [Tb 0.2 La 1.8 (dcpa) 3 (H 2 O)] ∞ ( F1 ) and [Eu 0.2 La 1.8 (dcpa) 3 (H 2 O)] ∞ ( F1 ) exhibit remarkable overall quantum yields. In particular, the one measured on the Tb-derivative compares well with the highest overall quantum yields reported to date for coordination polymers. …”

“…Around Nd2 are five carboxylate oxygen atoms and one nitrogen atom of four different L2 3– ligands and three oxygen atoms from three different water molecules. The Nd–O carboxylate bond distances are within 2.355(3) and 2.679(13) Å, Nd–O water bond distances are between 2.469(5) and 2.586(6) Å and Nd–N bond distances are 2.629(4) and 2.714(4) Å, all of which are comparable to the reported neodymium complexes. In 1 , L2 3– ligands are completely deprotonated and have two distinct coordination modes, containing μ 4 -η 1 :η 1 :η 1 :η 1 :η 0 :η 1 :η 1 mode (mode I, Figure b) and μ 5 -η 1 :η 1 :η 1 :η 1 :η 1 :η 1 :η 1 mode (mode II, Figure c). The dihedral angles between the pyridine ring and benzene ring are 21.723 and 36.664° in mode I and II, respectively.…”

“…Terbium-based Ln-CP 8 shows four emission peaks at 488, 542, 593, and 623 nm, all of which can be attributed to radiative relaxation from the 5 D 4 excited state of Tb 3+ tothe 7 F J state ( J = 6, 5, 4, 3, respectively). The 5 D 4 → 7 F 5 transition at 542 nm has the highest intensity and contributes the most to the intense green emission in Ln-CP 8 . Excitation spectra of 6 and 8 reveal typical sets of excitation bands for the Eu 3+ and Tb 3+ ions, and assignments of the bands are provided in Figure .…”
