“…Hydrogel preparation using PST001 and acrylamide has been previously established and well-characterized. 15 The application of hydrogels for wound healing has been established. It was observed that an interpenetrating network formed between natural and synthetic polymers showed excellent swelling ability.…”

“…PST001 based composite hydrogel was prepared using a previously established protocol and detailed characterization was reported previously by the authors. 15 Figure 2(a) represents the scanning electron microscopic image of the hydrogel at a magnification of 500X showing smooth surface topography which will be beneficial for cell attachment and proliferation. The absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion, and toxicity was determined using the pkCSM bioinformatics tool and revealed that the hydrogel had no severe toxicity to human or environment, showing better compatibility compared with acrylamide gels without polysaccharide (Figure S2).…”

“…To prolong the action time of cytokines on the wound surface, we formed a semi-solid drug reservoir through the alliance of adipose-derived stem cell concentrated conditioned medium (ADSCC-CM) and the polysaccharide hydrogel aiming to exert its sustained-release effect. Currently, polysaccharide hydrogel has emerged as a scaffold material with good biocompatibility while achieving widespread adoption into the clinical realm by virtue of its tunable morphology, controllable degradation, and release behaviour [9][10][11].…”

“…AgNPs are more toxic compared to bulk silver but they have a strong anti-inflammatory impact during tissue healing and can be integrated into composite materials to obtain antibacterial properties [29][30][31]. The human dietary intake of silver, owing to the widespread use of silver compounds, is estimated at 70-90 ”g per day [32].…”
