“… 52 We observed very low hepatitis B vaccination coverage, although hepatitis B transmissions are predominantly vertical in India. 92 Screening for HBsAg in pregnant individuals is important for timely treatment for hepatitis B and for prevention of transmission to neonates. The low levels of HBsAg screening observed in this study warrants the need for testing of all women entering pregnancy.…”
