“…To support the urgency of this manuscript, there are several similar studies for comparison with the current study concerning Nusantara scholars, such as Imawan's writings on Sheikh Abdusshamad al-Falimbani (Imawan, 2018b), Sheikh Nuruddin al-Raniri (Imawan, 2022b), Sheikh Abdurrauf al-Sinkili (Imawan, 2022c), Sheikh Mahfuzh al-Tarmasi (Imawan, 2020), Sheikh Arsyad al-Banjari (Imawan, 2021a), and Sheikh Nawawi al-Bantani (Fauzi & Imawan, 2022). Research on the works and scholars of Nusantara has also been conducted by Shaleh on "Miratu al-Thullab of Sheikh Sinkili" (Salleh et al, 2019), Meyer on his literary works, Hamzah al-Fansuri (Meyer, 2019), and Harisuddin on the Islamic organizational network in Indonesia (Harisudin, 2017).…”

“…Conflicts that must be resolved wisely are said to have caused the emergence of opposition groups that are antiwomen's leadership in Aceh, according to some historical sources. The conflict in question refers to differences in ideas between followers of Hamzah Fansuri and Syamsuddin as-Sumatrani (Amnan, 2022) and followers of Nuruddin Ar-Raniry regarding the teachings of wujudiyyah or wahdatul wujud in Aceh (Majid, 2015;Irfanullah & Fuad, 2022). The teachings of wujudiyyah, or wahdatul wujud, were once an understanding that was officially adopted in the Aceh Sultanate during the period of Sultan Iskandar Muda (1607-1636), and Syamsuddin As-Sumatrani occupied the position of mufti of the Aceh Sultanate so that the teachings of wujudiyyah also experienced rapid development and were practiced by the Acehnese people.…”

“…Abdurrauf As-Singkili compiled the Book of Mir'at al-Thullab based on a direct request from Sultanah Safiatuddin, who at that time was leading the Aceh Sultanate, wanting to write a book of fiqh (in this case, the book of Mir'at al-Thullab) that discusses the field of muamalah, such as social, legal, political, and economic fields, from an Islamic perspective (Rahman, 2019). It was reasonable for Sultanah Safiatuddin to make the request, as Nur ad-Din Ar-Raniry had already written a comprehensive book on jurisprudence that focused on the field of worship in 1644, titled Sirat al-Mustaqim (Amnan, 2022;Abdul et al, 2022). Therefore, Sultanah Safiatuddin wants to present a book of fiqh that discusses aspects of muamalah.…”

“…Sebagaimana pembatasan gerak terhadap murid Hamzah Fansuri dan Syamsudin As-Sumaterani oleh Nuruddin Ar-Raniry. 28 Namun MPTT-I berbeda dengan murid Hamzah Fansuri dalam menghadapi subordinasi dan disikriminasi. Jika murid Hamzah Fansuri hilang, namun MPTT-I malah lebih berkembang.…”
