Abstract:Shihab al-Din Suhrawardi is a great figure known as a philosopher in Iran. He is also a sufi member and a founder of the Illumination philosophy. Shihab al-Din Suhrawardi’s life journey from his birthplace, Suhraward to Aleppo, has made Suhrawardi a famous man with the title of al-Ishraq besides the al-Maqtul title.
