“…10.5%, and agriculture 7.0%. Coser et al (2018) evaluated carbon accumulation in pastures for an agricultural system in the Brazilian Cerrado and found similar results, where the C-labile fraction accounted for 4.40 to 10.44% of TOC.…”

“…The vast majority of machinery and technologies that are developed are targeted to non-family farmers that practice monoculture, and thus diversified systems are very dependent on labor and manual harvesting, which increase production costs. As stated by Silva et al (2018) and Coser et al (2018), crop diversification and integrated agricultural systems are promising strategies to revert widespread land degradation and increase ecological production intensification. A study conducted by Steward (2013) in a village in the Amazon Estuary in Brazil showed that, with the emergence of new markets for agricultural crops, farmers are abandoning annual fields and replacing it with cash crops agroforests.…”

“…This program encourages farmers to adopt mitigation technologies such as pasture restoration that aim to reduce deforestation and increase the implementation of integrated agricultural systems (Silva et al, 2018). According to Coser et al (2018), the strategy of the ABC program is to convert 15 million hectares of lowproductivity pastures to agri-silviculture systems, which would account for a reduction of carbon emissions of 79.50 Tg ha -1 year -1 during the first four years after its implementation.…”

“…Outros estudos corroboram em afirmar a capacidade dos sistemas de iLPF, em aumentar os teores de matéria orgânica do solo (ASSMANN et al, 2014;CALIL et al, 2016;CONCEIÇÃO et al, 2017;COSER et al, 2018;OLIVEIRA et al, 2018;SACRAMENTO et al, 2013;. Sacramento et al (2013) estudaram os estoques de carbono orgânico do solo sob sistema convencional, silvipastoril e agrossilvipastoril.…”
