Abstract: In this paper we present SHRUG, an interactive shoulder rehabilitation exerciser. With this work-in-progress system, we intend to (1) explore the effectiveness of providing interactive and just-in-time feedback to the patients and therapists; (2) explore the effect of adding a gaming element on the motivation of the patients.
