Side‐Chain Alkylation of Toluene with Ethylene

Abstract: cipitate is filtered off and the filtrate is evaporated to remove solvent ; the oily residue is distilled at 14O0C/O.4 torr [yield of (6) : 0.20g (64%); colorless stable oil].
