“…Na 3 T 2 SbO 6 is an antiferromagnet with a Néel temperature of 10.2 Κ. This is between the transition temperatures of its constituent Na 3 M 2 SbO 6 : 4.4 or 7 Κ (M = Co) and 16.5 or 18 K (M = Ni). The formal analogue with M = Cu, however, is not considered as a honeycomb structure: due to the Jahn–Teller distortion, Cu–Cu distances are there significantly different (3.20 × 2 and 2.96 Å), resulting in formation of dimers and alternating frustrated spin chains .…”
