Silver nanoparticle deposition on inverse opal SiO2 films embedded in protective polypropylene micropits for SERS applications

Abstract: Common methods to fabricate surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) substrates with controlled micro-nanohierarchy are often complex and expensive. In this study, we demonstrate a simple and cost effective method to fabricate SERS substrates with complex geometries.
