Abstract:Image sensors with integrated, programmable signal processing execute computationally intensive processing steps during or immediately after image acquisition, thereby allowing for reducing output data to relevant features only. In contrast to conventional image processing systems, the tasks of image acquisition and actual image processing in such a “vision chip” cannot be viewed independently of each other. Both for validating the architecture and supporting programming in the course of application developmen… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
